Native American Tribe Presentation
With our original teaching group, we created a new lesson about Native American tribes to our fellow classmates. My group was assigned to the Navajo/Dine' tribe and here is a link to our Google Slides presentation! This was a very fun and effective project that I learned a lot from. I thought it was interesting that we were tailoring our teaching to our peers, instead of elementary school students. Our lesson plan outline was exactly like teaching the elementary school students, but we created activities and questions that were college grade level! I found our lesson to be super engaging with the class. After we were able to observe our colleagues lessons for the Bishop Dunn class, we were able to use some of their tips and ideas to create a very stimulating and effective lesson about the Navajo Native American Tribe.
